This tesla coil uses the same components from the version 5, but has a new and smaller secondary. Some modifications on the primary had to be done to tune the coil for best performance.

Specifications
Primary: 12 turns of 1/4-inch copper tubing, about 1/2-inch spacing, tapped to about 6 turns.
Secondary: About 720 turns, 17 inches from top to bottom, #23 gauge magnet wire on 3-inch diameter PVC.
Spark Gap: 3-segment multiple spark gap, 1-inch copper pipes about 6-inches long
Capacitor: MMC: One string of ten .15uF 3kV Cornell Dubilier capacitors = About .015 @ 30kV.
Input V: 12kV, 60mA

About 1.4 to 1.6 feet long discharges.

About 1.3 feet long discharges without the massive toroid.
The primary was tapped at 6 turns instead of 8.
