Atlas

Atlas

1930s

Despite the obscure brand, this Atlas cathedral clock is a copy of Telechron's successful model 355 cathedral clock that was manufactured in the late twenties to early thirties. The clock mechanism is very simple and requires a spin start when power is first applied unlike all Telechron clocks that are self-starting. I bought this Atlas clock in an antique store for eight bucks but the hands were missing so I fabricated new ones.
