The Texas Instruments TI-1025, introduced in June 1977, was a basic arithmetic calculator featuring an 8-digit vacuum fluorescent display (VFD) and algebraic logic. It had six functions, 24 keys, and was powered by a 9V PP3 battery, making it a compact and reliable device for everyday calculations. Manufactured in El Salvador and Hong Kong, the TI-1025 was an enhanced version of the TI-1000, adding memory functions while maintaining a simple, user-friendly design. It was available in brown or white and originally retailed for $11.77, making it an affordable option at the time.
