The General Electric GE-54 is a lovely tabletop radio with a yellow vertical slide rule dial and enclosed in a mottled red-brown bakelite cabinet with a matching molded bakelite back cover. The radio is unusually heavy for a bakelite set because the chassis contains a power transformer.
