This 1938 Emerson BB-208 is encased in a lovely walnut bakelite cabinet with 4 pushbuttons. The cabinet is similar to several other Emerson tabletop radios of the late 1930s that consist of 3 molded pieces to assemble the cabinet like the earlier 1936 model 149 and 1937 models BL-200 in bakelite and ivory. The radio is a typical TRF design that works well. This model originally cost $14.95.
