This neat Guild "Spice Chest" radio was among a line of novelty radios including the "Country Belle" phone radio produced by Guild Radio & Television Corp. The radio is a simple 1950s standard AA5 radio with miniature tubes. The cabinet came in several variations with shutter or solid doors, the speaker grille was either a plain metal looking mesh or Western artwork.
