This Kismet radio was an early 5-tube Tuned Radio Frequency (TRF) set manufactured by Radio Tel & Tel Corp in New York. The radio was originally manufactured in 1925 and advertised for $37.50 as shown in the October 1925 Radio Retailer & Jobber (couresty of Alan Douglas at Antique Radios Forums). This example has the original finish and inlaid wood on each side of the bakelite face. Radio Tel & Tel Corp was in operation for about a year and shuttered in 1926.
